Challenge
Horizon Cleaning Service first sought out Tennant Australia cleaning equipment in 2012 with the purchase of a Tennant S30 ride-on sweeper. This S30 still remains in operation today, a testament to the machine’s longevity and quality. Over the years, Horizon Cleaning Service has built an extensive Tennant fleet, including multiple T16, T500, and T300 scrubbers.
However, as Horizon’s operations grew, the team was contracted to maintain larger, more complex facilities each presenting unique cleaning challenges.
Most recently, Horizon was engaged to clean a 30,000 sqm glass manufacturing facility requiring around-the-clock cleaning. The site included both indoor and outdoor areas, featuring smooth concrete floors, rough concrete, and tarmac surfaces, as well as loading docks and heavy debris zones.
While the Tennant T16 Ride-On Scrubber had served the site well, the increasing operational demand meant Horizon needed a more powerful, versatile solution capable of handling fine dust, heavy debris, and 24-hour production activity.

SOLUTION
Working closely with the Tennant Australia sales team, a detailed site survey and safety assessment were conducted to identify the most effective cleaning solution for the glass manufacturing facility. After evaluating the site’s mix of indoor and outdoor surfaces, heavy debris levels, and strict safety requirements, the Tennant M30 Sweeper-Scrubber was selected.
Purpose-built for large, high-traffic industrial environments, the M30 delivers powerful sweeping and scrubbing performance in a single pass, enabling Horizon to clean both smooth concrete and rough tarmac surfaces with exceptional efficiency. Its integrated design ensures complete debris pickup, effective dust control, and superior water recovery, leaving floors clean and safe for operations.
Equipped with a 284 L recovery tank and 198 L debris hopper, the M30 enables long run times and fewer empty/fill cycles, ideal for continuous, 24-hour operations. Capable of covering up to 20,160 sqm per hour, it significantly reduces manual labour while maximising cleaning productivity. Its precise edge-cleaning capability also ensures consistent results across perimeter areas, loading docks, and around heavy equipment.
