We recently released our 2025 (FY 2024) Sustainability Report, which marks the continuation of the work on our sustainability framework Thriving People. Healthy Planet.
Our Thriving People. Healthy Planet. framework provides a lens through which we can set goals, align plans, and integrate sustainability across our business to create shared value for our business, our customers, and society.
The framework is centered on two pillars: Thriving People and Healthy Planet. This includes six impact areas where we know we can create change: employee success, social impact, shared spaced, climate & energy, water & chemical use, and circular products & waste – because our business cannot be successful without a healthy planet and thriving people.
We’re proud of the work we’re doing to embed sustainability across our plants, operations, and products and the significant progress against our goals and ambitions.
This year’s report reflects our continued commitment to embedding sustainability across our business through our Thriving People. Healthy Planet. framework.
We continually strive to enhance our reporting in a dynamic ESG regulatory landscape and rising stakeholder expectations, while remaining transparent, accountable, and committed to building a cleaner, safer, and healthier world together.
2024 sustainability highlights:
🤝🏼 Expanded our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to provide meaningful connections amongst our employees and foster an inclusive work environment
💸 Invested $2 million in our communities through the Tennant Foundation and corporate giving
🧹 Enabled the cleaning of 8.8 trillion square feet of shared spaces in partnership with our customers
🌞 Sourced 92% of our global electricity from renewable sources
📉 Continued to reduce the emissions from the use of our products
🥉 Achieved a Bronze Medal from EcoVadis for our sustainability performance
In addition to these highlights, we’re proud to have been named on TIME and Statista’s list of the World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth and were named on Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies.
