Creating a Cleaner, Safer, Healthier World

Tennant Company has announced new reduction targets for greenhouse gas emissions, in line with the Paris Agreement’s goal of limiting global warming to well below two degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. We’ve joined more than 100 of the world’s largest companies, who have committed to science-based targets for reducing their emissions as part of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

As part of Tennant’s mission to create a cleaner, safer, healthier world, this commitment represents a step forward in the company’s goal to manage the business in a sustainable way. The move also helps customers in their own efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of their own operations.

According to Tennant Company’s President and CEO Chris Killingstad, “Tennant Company has long held a commitment to operating our business as a Sustainable Enterprise and delivering sustainable solutions to our customers. By leveraging the efforts and support of SBTi to set new and ambitious targets, we continue our endeavor to reduce GHG emissions and help advance the transition to a low-carbon economy.”
