Employee Spotlight: Ana Pereira, Strategic Account Specialist

Ana Pereira is known by her colleagues as a driven professional who will take on any challenge, regardless of the obstacles. She is relentless, focused on providing the Tennant customer, or potential customer, with everything they need in order to secure, or maintain, her strategic accounts.
Her role in Tennant Company exemplifies many of Tennant’s Guiding Principles, but most clearly the value of Impactful Work.
Ana’s role is to make sure that key Tennant clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa are receiving the best customer service possible, and that their needs are being met. She not only responds to client requests, she also anticipates their needs and works to keep ahead of the game – a role that clearly has a massive impact on both client retention and sales.
“Ana is always looking to learn more about what the company is doing, so she can share those stories with customers,” said Pete Swenson, Tennant’s Director of Sustainable Enterprise. “She presents Tennant as a partner not just a supplier.”
“We all inspire each other,” Ana said. “I subscribe to the idea that everything in life has a solution.”
Because of her Impactful Work – and playing key roles on teams that have won many large contracts with world-leading companies – Ana was a 2017 recipient of the Tennant’s Leading Edge Award for exemplifying behaviors the company values most.
Kevin Nicholson, a former leader of EMEA strategic accounts noted, “Ana is a tireless champion for Tennant with vast organizational knowledge, broad connections across the continent, an eye for detail, and intense customer focus. She expertly manages all of the complex components of big deals and gives Tennant the best possible shot at success.”
