Tennant Employees Give Back at the Annual Clean Sweep

Creating a Cleaner, Safer, Healthier World

After a historic snowstorm in mid-April blanketed the Minneapolis, MN area (home of Tennant Company’s headquarters) with up to 22 in (56 cm) of snow, it may have seemed to some local residents that spring may never arrive. But, as the saying goes, "if you don't like the weather here, wait five minutes."

Now - the weather is warmer, the snow has melted, and spring has come to Minnesota. Unfortunately, as anybody that has lived through a winter knows, melting snow and winter weather can leave behind a mess of dirt and gravel in a facility's outdoor spaces.

On May 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th, Tennant employees participated in the company’s annual Clean Sweep volunteer event at the Minnesota Zoo and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Employees participating in this event had the unique opportunity to give back to the community by using Tennant cleaning machines to scrub and sweep the winter mess from the facilities’ roads, trails, parking lots and more.
