2020 Sustainability Report

We recently published our 12th annual Corporate Sustainability Report for 2020 and we are proud to share our accomplishments towards our four focus areas. A few highlights include:
- We were creative in our response to the COVID-19 pandemic including working with the University of Minnesota to develop an emergency resuscitator.
- 2020 was the 4th consecutive year that Tennant Company earned a score for A- from the CDP Climate Change Program, giving Tennant Company the Leadership level distinction for our sector.
- We achieved 9 Sustainability Targets with the launch of new products in 2020
- We had a low-waste move of our global Headquarters from Golden Valley 12.5 miles southeast to Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
- We celebrated our 150th Anniversary by raising $150K through volunteer time, machine donations, and employee giving.
The report highlights many more projects and achievements from our operations globally that have contributed to our continued progress towards our objectives, goals and metrics set for our four focus areas:
- Products: Commitment to creating and commercializing breakthrough, sustainable cleaning technologies.
- Greenhouse Gas Emissions/Energy: Reduce GHG emissions used in our operations and along our value chain
- Waste: Commitment to becoming a zero-waste enterprise
- People & Communities: Unquestionable integrity and community involvement, including:
- Environment, facilities, and safety
- Company ethics & human rights
- Intentional giving
